Luka’s POV.
My eyes strained to go look. There was sunlight obstructing my sight to see clearly but I saw figures and I saw her slender body walking tiredly. Adjusting the bag in my hands, I tried to hasten my straps. We were still far from ourselves but I could hear her screams.
“Emily?” I said without even knowing when her name was out of my mouth. Her hands were tied and she was screaming some words.
I couldn’t clearly hear her but I figured she said something impossible, but one of the men walking with her hit her hard on the head and she fell.
“What!” I scowled and didn’t know when my legs took off.
