Emily’s POV.
My eyes couldn’t believe the jewelry in my hands. Mrs Claire just gave me something this precious and I could see it looking glamorous to me. I rubbed it, held it and adored it until I looked at the wall clock. Dropping it back into the box, I stood up knowing it was time for me to get ready for dinner.
My emotions were still quite hurt. He didn’t even ask to see me, he asked that I come see him like he owed me. I mean, I was thrown out of his room and he didn’t come to properly ask me to have dinner with him but sent Mrs Claire.
