*Raylee* The wheels of the plane kiss the ground, and I feel a jolt of reality wash over me as we come to a stop. I lean against the window, my breath hitching in my throat. London, a place I never knew even existed, sprawls before me like a vibrant tapestry, woven with colors and shapes I’ve only ever dreamed about. The air is thick with the scent of blooming flowers and something earthy, a reminder that life has thrived even after the chaos of the apocalypse, the opposite of what we were told. I step out of the plane, my feet hitting the ground, and I’m instantly enveloped by the hum of the city. The buildings tower above me, their steel and glass facades glinting in the sunlight, interspersed with patches of greenery that seem to burst forth from the cracks in the pavement. It’s beaut
