*Raylee* I sit cross-legged on a blanket just outside the pack compound, the sun warming my skin and the scent of pine filling the air. Freesia is beside me, her dark hair catching the light as she leans back on her elbows, watching Jo play. She's busy digging in the dirt, her laughter ringing out like music, and I can’t help but smile at her innocent joy. “Can you believe this is our life now?” Freesia asks, breaking the comfortable silence.
