Chapter 2

Aditya’s Pov:

I woke up with the headache in my head. I directly went to my kitchen and go through multiple cabinets to find the medicine box. There…I found it. I took pill and sat on my dining table and started thinking about my past.

Ringing of phone made me come out of my thoughts. I got up from the chair to take my phone I was about to pick up but it was hung up. Three missed calls from Sumit.

SHIT….

Today is the most important meeting. I glance at the clock it is 8:30. I’ve 30 mins to reach office. I quickly ran to take bath and within 10 mins I’m ready.

I made it to my office at 8:55. Thank god I reached on time otherwise this wolf man would have killed me.

That wolf man as in Sumit. After completing degree he came here in Canada and settled down and I was in India because I wanted to start my family in India with her. HER. I miss her very much.

Sumit pushed me inside our boss’s cabin and we started our meeting. Yes I work here as an employee. Now you’ll ask me why I’m working here when I have my own company in India. Well I’ve been here from last two years. Since she died I couldn’t stay there, I can’t face them each and every day knowing they’re the reason she is no more.

It took 2 hours to complete my meeting. By the time it completed it was 11:30. I directly went to my and Sumit’s cabin and turned on my system and started working.

My eyes suddenly fell on the calendar and started to wonder why didn’t she called, I want to hear her antics to irritate me and most important I want to hear my Aai’s voice. God I miss my Aai so much. Yes I’m not staying with them because I can’t stand them but I also love my Aai so much. It’s been two years I haven’t talk with her or to my father. When I came here for first 6 months I haven’t picked up their calls or never tried to call them. I was hell angry on them.

Then suddenly one day one girl called me. It’s from unknown number so I picked up. I still remember that day. She asked me the random questions which strangers never asked and after bearing her for 2 mins I was about to cut the call when I heard my Aai’s voice and I froze. My eyes watered hearing her voice. But I didn’t spoke a word, just listened what she was saying also I didn’t hung the call.

After speaking about 7 mins she finally hung up before that she told me to take care of myself, that she miss me and  to come home. Every month she calls me. For first 2 mins she irritates me and then gives phone to Aai and I just listened to her but I never spoke a word.

Now you’ll wonder who she is. So let me tell you that, she is my father’s PA. I never asked her about who she is but I know that. My hacking skill helps me through this kind of stuffs. Not that I always hack someone’s phone number but yes if I’m related to that person and I don’t want them to know that I know something about them then I use these skills. Her name is Prachi Chauhan and she’s working as my father’s PA from last one and half year. I know everything about her.

It’s not like I ever talked with her properly but it’s the day when she calls me every month.

‘May be they’re busy doing something.’Thinking this I started doing my work again.

My phone buzzed. Indicating me that I’ve received a message. I ignored that and kept doing my work. Well I don’t like to use my phone during working hours.

It buzzed again and again. Getting irritated I took my phone and saw I’ve received Prachi’s message. Reading her name I started to feel something is wrong. I don’t know why I’m feeling this. She never texted me. With that feeling I open the message.

She sent 3 photos. I download that pictures and my eyes grew wide. I immediately called her. She received in 2 rings,

“Hello” she said in worried voice.

“Tell me Prachi this is not true.” I shouted on her feeling restless.

Sumit looked at me shocked. I don’t care about anyone right now.

“It’s True Aditya please come here as fast as you can.” She said quietly. By the voice of her, she sounds really stressed and worried. It’s like she was crying.

“Okay.” I said.

“She really wants to see you, please come here…” she told me again.

“I’m coming in the next flyt I can get. Don’t worry. Just be there with her.”I told her and hung up.

I started looking for the first flyt I can get right now. By the time Sumit came and stand near my desk and asked

“What happened??”

“My Aai is in hospital. She got heart attack.”I told him.

“Then what the hell are you doing in your system???” he asked me in the way that I looked up.

“I’m looking for the next flyt for Pune. I’m going I’m going to India right now. I can’t see Aai like that. I have to go.”I replied.

“Hey Hey Hey man calm down. I’m not saying that you’re not supposed to go. All I’m saying is you go reach airport till then I’ll book your tickets.” He said calming me down.

I nodded and took my bag from the couch and about to leave when I heard him saying,

“Don’t worry brother. Nothing is gonna happen to her.”

I stopped. Turning around I smiled at him and hugged him last time and went for airport.

By the time I reached airport I received Sumit’s email of my ticket. My flyt is at 1 pm and it’s already 12:40pm.I immediately went in and boarded in for the Pune’s flyt.

I took my seat and started wondering about how this one and half year have had been without my parents and tomorrow I’m gonna see them after this long.
