The soft glow of pre-dawn light filtered through the curtains, casting shadows across Lily's sleeping form. She stirred, her eyelids fluttering open as the insistent beeping of her alarm pierced the quiet. With a groan, she reached out to silence it, her fingers brushing against cool skin. "Good morning, little witch," Caspian murmured, his silver eyes gleaming in the dim light. Lily shivered, memories of the night before flooding back.
