She's The Queen

Chapter 4

Xander POV

    While hearing that Alexandria would be an amazing Queen and Luna made my heart jump with joy, hearing about her being a wife and mother was scary. After all this time, I had honestly gave up the idea of having a family, almost to the point where I despised the idea of it. And the idea of a chosen mate from the Elder Council made it worse. I'd rather never produce an heir then be forced to love and mate with someone chosen for me. I'd deal with this revelation later though.

    "Luna?" Lilith asked

    "Sorry....I was thinking maybe 4-5 years ago after the boys shifted I think?" She answered.

    "Wait....When did you two first shift?" I asked Luca and Gianni

    "We were both 14 and shifted within days of hearing our wolfs." Luca answered. "But Alexandria came into her wolf at 13. We honestly didn't know she hasn't shifted yet either." He finished, clearly upset.

    "How is that even possible?!" I questioned. Hell Dimitri didn't show up until he was 15 and that was considered early, even for an Alpha King. Most wolves show up 6 months before they turn 18 so by the time they are old enough to find their mate the basic logistics of life are out of the way between wolf and human.

    "One more question boys. What color are your wolves?" Lilith asked, calmly as ever making me question what the hell is going on here.

    "Luca's is pure black with ice white eyes, mine is pure white with pitch black eyes. We are polar opposites." Gianni told us.

    "Lilith.....What is going on here? Why are you so interested in when they shifted and what colors their wolves are?" I asked with a scowl. I was rather frustrated with her line of questioning.

    "It's very simple my dear. Your mate and her brothers are from what was thought to be a long lost line of wolves, part of the original ones created by none other than the Moon Goddess herself, the Ferrarini clan. You Xander, have been paired with potentially one of the potentially most blessed wolves in all of our history, aside from her brothers. Which also means you are the blessed King." She told us while we all looked at her in complete and utter shock.

    "And you know this how?"

    "Do you forget that I have special powers being an Elder my dear? I can sense her purity and her wolves soul. I can also sense she is under a dark magic spell, which is why she didn't recognize you as her mate."

    After letting us absorb the information shock. She proceeded to give us a basic rundown of the the werewolf history to help fill in some of the blanks that have have been lost over our 3000+ year history.

    "As we all know, the Moon Goddess is our creator. She is the one that made all of us of the inhuman species. Whether it be werewolf, witch, vampire or any of our other inhuman kind. While some have a different name for our spirit mother...She is the same none the less. When she created each of our kind, there were a set amount of royal families to start the process and then she created smaller families which you all know as the Beta's, Gamma's and Omega's.

    It was said when the Moon Goddess created us, there were to be "blessed creatures". The stories are written in the ancient scrolls and books that are with the royal families. They also state that we will never know when the "blessed creatures" are to be born, just that there are determining factors of their life that will allow the blessing to be bestowed upon them. It seems the Miss Alexandria comes to fit the basic factors to be the rarest blessed wolf we will ever see. She is the youngest of the triplets, and her brothers wolves are exact opposites. She is also of a pure heart, her wolf came to her very early, and has had to face some troubling things, but still stayed positive." Lilith finally ended, leaving us all temporarily speechless.

    When we finally did come to our senses....The questions started rolling.

    "Ferrarini clan? Who are they?" Lauren asked.

    "Wait....Does that mean we are blessed?!" Luca and Gianni asked simultaneously.

    "Dark magic?!! Who in the f**k has Alexandria under a spell!? Can we remove it?" I seethingly said. Dimitri was pushing dangerously close to the surface, ready to tear apart anyone that hurt Alexandria. Not that I minded. I was on the same page.

    "Quiet everyone! Please! Before I answer anymore questions, someone refill my drink." Lilith casually demanded.

    After Lauren got up, got her drink and sat back down, Lilith finally spoke after a moment.

    "To answer the question from the boys, yes, you boys are also blessed. Not as much as your sister, but once she finds out her range of powers, you'll know more. Lauren, the Ferrarini clan was one of the original 10 royal families. We thought they were destroyed in the war 1000 years ago. But apparently they ran away with their tails between their legs to start a new life in America. 

    And for your questions King Xander....Yes she is under dark magic. To know who exactly, we will have to find that out from Alpha Lorenzo. Yes, I can remove the spell by a simple spell of my own. From my senses she is about to wake up in a few, so you may want to go in your bedroom and be there to explain. We can wait out here and give the brand new love birds a moment, then bring her out and we can fill her in on the rest." Lilith said with a smile.

    Mate! Go see mate! NOW!

    "I'm going!"

Alexandria POV

    Ouch. That is literally all I can think currently. My head is pounding and my neck is killing me from my fathers death grip before everything went black. But wait, I remember seeing those eyes! Damn, the absolutely handsome guy must have saved me! I need to thank him as soon as I wake up.

    Taking a deep breath before I try to open my eyes, his intoxicating smell hits me and I can feel myself moaning at how good it smells and cuddling into the bed. Bed? Wait....How did I end up in a bed that smells like him?

    A sexy deep chuckle brings me out of my slumber and my eyes shoot open to find the sound and they instantly lock with the walking Greek god Adonis, his sea foam green eyes piercing into my soul, and a mouthwatering half smile/smirk that instantly has Natalia purring.

    "Welcome back my love. How are you feeling?" 

    Oh Moon Goddess......His deep voice is so f*****g sexy. I can already feel myself melting. While trying to control my urge to jump him right there and control my erratic heartbeat, I notice his eyes flashing black momentarily before a panty dropping growl comes from his chest.

    "My love....I can sense your arousal. And while I'd love to take you right here and right now and have you screaming my name all night, now is not the time baby. So please tell me how you are feeling?"

    Oh hot damn. That's sexy.  Natalia purred.

    "Hush it! Let me speak already!"

    After quieting my wolf, I quickly shook my head, which of course caused my head to throb, to get out of my lustful haze and opened my eyes to talk to him.   

    "I'm alright, just sore and a slight headache if I move my head to quick. Why did you save me?"

    He quickly reached over to grab me some medicine for the headache and gave me a glass of water to take them. After he took the glass of water back and set it on the table, he sat down next to me on the bed and quickly grabbed my tiny hands in his big strong ones, causing sparks to shoot up my arms, and a shocked gasp to escape my lips. I looked back into his eyes and saw all the love in the world staring back at me.

    "Do you feel that my love?" He asked and I quickly nodded a yes.

    "The reason you are feeling that my love is because we are mates. And why wouldn't I save my adorable little Queen from danger? That's my job." He finished with a smirk.

    "Your...Your Queen? Who are you?"

    "Ahh...yes. I'm sorry my love. I am the Alpha King Xander Romanoff, but you my sweetheart can just call me Xander. "

    "Holy s**t. You are the King?! Like the real King of werewolves?"

    "Yes sweetheart, I am the King. You sound surprised?"

    "To be honest, I am. I always thought the King was some dusty old angry fart. Not a walking Greek s*x God like yourself." I said, instantly blushing after realizing what I said. Damn my lack of filter.

    The insane laugh that came from Xander, instantly had me blushing harder, so I quickly pulled my hands from his to hide my embarrassment.

    "Don't you hide that beautiful face from me gorgeous. I can tell already I'm going to love this fiery little personality you have. Come on love, let me pick you up and take you out to the living room area of my suite so you can see your family and we can fill you in on everything else."

    After Xander swiftly picked me up bridal style and carried me out to the living room, he sat down with me still in his lap, obviously already being over-protective and possessive of me. Not that I necessarily minded, his strong body and warm embrace around me was absolute heaven. Then he sweetly kissed my forehead, making me melt. I looked into his eyes and saw nothing but love and it made my heart skip a beat.

    It wasn't until the older woman sitting near my mom cleared her throat, abruptly bringing me out of my trance and back to reality.

    "How are you feeling sweetheart?" my mom asked, worry written across her face.

    "Other than a little sore from my head meeting a wall, never better mom." I said with a smile, then instantly regretting what I said as a deep growl from behind me surfaced and a pair of arms became tighter around my body. 

    I turned back towards Xander, noticing his eyes were a couple shades darker, and quickly wrapped my arms around his neck while pressing my forehead to his.

    "Chill out handsome. You saved me and I'm right here in your arms, safe. Don't be hateful." I quickly said, giving him a stern look.

    He laughed but quickly buried his head in the crook of my neck, inhaled deeply and proceeded to mumble something in the crook of my neck, but I could easily tell it was Russian.

"Я понимаю русский сексуально. Но хорошая попытка. Перестань скулить." (YA ponimayu russkiy seksual'no. No khoroshaya popytka. Perestan' skulit'. I can understand Russian sexy. But nice try. Quit bitching.)

    The shocked look on his face was hilarious, causing me to laugh out loud. But I quickly composed myself and turned back to everyone.

    "Sorry about that. Someone here had a Neanderthal moment. So who wants to fill me in on what all I missed?"

    A half hour later, my mind was complete mush. Dark magic, our crazy family history, Xander being my mate, and the craziest thing...I'm a rare blessed wolf? 

    "So let me see if I have this right. Our family is most likely one of the royal families, but somehow went AWOL and goddess only knows what other messed up s**t that has gone on since then. Xander is my mate, but I can't fully feel it because I'm under a dark magic spell. And apparently I'm some super rare blessed wolf? Do I have this all correct?"

    "Yes my love you do." Xander said.

    "Ok well I have a couple questions. Can we get rid of the dark magic spell I'm under? What about our family and pack in America? What happens to them? And this whole "blessed wolf" thing. Why hasn't Natalia told me about all this? Won't this mean I'll be in some sort of danger since "I'm so rare." as you all say I am?"

    "My Queen, I can remove the dark magic spell that you are currently under with a quick incantation. That won't be an issue. Hopefully with that it should remove the block from your wolf also since it effects you both. Your father is going to face a trial held by the Elder Council, but the ultimate punishment comes from your mate if your father is found guilty. And as for the danger....Yes. You are one of a kind. It's bound that someone will come for your powers." Lilith said, causing my stomach to drop thinking about being in danger.

    Xander's strong arms tightened around me and I could already tell he was pissed without even looking at him. I already knew, in just the short amount of time we knew each other, his protective instincts over me were showing full force. 

    "If anyone tries to hurt my love or put her in any sort of danger intentionally, I'll rip their f*****g throats out." Xander, or should I say Xander and his wolf both said. Hearing the dangerously low tone of his voice sent shock waves straight to my core. Good lord what is happening to me?

    "Ok....Enough for today please. This is a lot to take in and my headache is starting to come back. Can we all talk again about this tomorrow or later this week?"

    "Absolutely sweetheart. Let's just go back to our rooms and we can order room service and watch a movie. How does that sound Lexi?" my mom asked.

    "Sure...That sounds..."

    "Not happening my love. Sorry." Xander said flatly.

    "What do you mean by 'not happening' exactly?" I said, scowling at him.

    "What I mean is...You my love, are not going back to your room. You're my mate, and you were attacked today. I currently trust no one in this hotel other than who is in this room and my beta Nick. We have no idea of who knows you are a blessed wolf & I am not risking your safety. Your mom and brothers can move into one of the suites on this floor so they are closer to you. But you are staying in here with me. End of argument." he said rather confidently with a devilish smirk. 

    He has a point you know. He just wants to keep us safe. 

    "Oh shut up, you are just turned on by him"

    And you aren't? Tsk tsk. He is delicious!

    "My love?" Xander asked

    "......Fine. I guess I don't really have a say in this, do I?" while rolling my eyes and standing up to give my mom and brothers a hug.

    "You guys want to meet back here in about 2 hours for dinner after you get settled in you new room?"

    "Sure. See you in a little bit!" Luca said before walking out the door with my mom and Gianni following behind.

    "Elder Lilith, I want to thank you for everything. You probably saved my family from being killed by caveman over there." I said with a laugh.

    "My my, you are quite the saucy one. Looks like you are going to keep our dear King on his toes. But alas, he deserves it. He needs someone to keep him in check. But before I leave my dear...." she said before whispering an incantation, and what felt like hundreds of pounds of chains instantly fell off my body. 

    My headache ceased, I was full of energy, and after a deep breath, the lust that filled my body from inhaling Xander's scent was instantaneous. I could feel my eyes shifting black for the first time as Natalia was finally able to come forward. Her ears perked up and slowly, she turned my body towards Xander.

    A simple word was all I said....Alerting Xander to the quick and lusty change of the atmosphere.

    "Mine!"
