GREY'S POV
I hit the dial icon. Tania picked up at the first ring. It felt as though she had been waiting by her phone.
"Grey," she said, before I spoke.
I said nothing for a second, then, "How did you know that I would call... Tania? And why were you so sure it was me?"
"I didn't know. I guessed, and I guessed right." She laughed."I was actually hoping you would call. You not giving me your number when I asked... I honestly thought you would just ghost me."
"Well, I didn't," I said after a pause.
I found that I was forcing myself to have a conversation with her, while it had just seemed to flow with Leila. There! That damned comparison again. I shut my eyes tightly.
