GREY'S POV
"This is it," Leila said, handing me a book.
I took it with a nod, and she immediately turned away. After a while, she walked away, to another section of the library and I knew that she was trying to avoid me. I sighed. This was how things had been between us since the day we had the argument about werewolves and monsters. We were not exactly on friendly or talking terms before that, but this time, things were worse. Now it felt like she couldn't stand the sight of me, and I was mad at her, and hurt too, at the thought that if she really knew what I was, she would cast me aside like I was a monster.
