"Ohh," Ivy muttered, glancing around and I faked a smile before taking my seat again. "How did they get bed bugs in their drinks?" Ivy asked, blinking her eyes as she tried to believe such could happen at such a party.
I kept mute watching her as I avoided talking about the drinks, giving a response will only lead us into talking about what truly happened and I wasn't ready to unveil that at the party.
We could talk about that some other time.
"I only noticed the drink when I got here," I lied taking my seat opposite her while she stared at me.
"Seriously?" Ivy asked in disgust. She looked around before looking back at me softly. "I could have taken that, if not for you," Ivy added.
