CRYSTAL POV
I clenched my hand at my side. There was only one way to know.
I stepped closer to her, not too close to creep her out… just enough I need to know my answer.
"Your bag is blocking the way," I said casually, gesturing toward the space beside her bag and and my wardrobe. It was a lie. There was enough space.
But I needed an answer.
She remained still for some seconds. Then slowly… she straightened up.
And turned.
Her hair shifted slightly over her shoulder as she moved, exposing the side of her neck for just a brief moment.
That was all I needed.
My eyes dropped instantly to her neck, searching for my answer. And then everything inside me stopped.
There it was, faint… but clear.
A small star-shaped mark, was etched just beneath her ear. My heart
