"…What do you think you're doing?" she asked, in a low and dangerous voice.
Serena didn't turn immediately. She remained standing there for a second, like she was considering something, before she finally glanced over her shoulder at me.
Her eyes met mine briefly.
And for a moment… something in them changed, it became softer a bit.
Then she looked back at Tara.
"I got bored," she said simply, her tone calm, almost careless. "You were taking too long."
