The Lawyer

Chapter 2

It was around lunch time when I arrived at my new home. I parked into the spot that my new employer told me to and then I grabbed my purse, phone and keys. Stepping out of the car, I took a deep breath.

The condo I was living in was along the beach and had several ocean views. Of course it wasn't my condo. I was to be the live in nanny of Chase Richards. A famous lawyer in the state of Maryland and well known in Pennsylvania.

Being along the ocean line, I could smell the salt in the air and was anxious to feel the sand beneath my feet. I knew it needed to wait. I walked over to the steps and made my way up.

The parking was on the ground floor and then the steps will lead you up to the "first floor" of the condos. There were a total of 4 condos in this building and the one I was going to be staying in was in the front of the building. Only two of the condos had the most ocean views but this one had the most.

Once I was at the top of the stairs, I walked to the condo numbered 1. Taking a deep breath, I knocked on the door. After knocking on the door, I heard footsteps coming closer to the door. Then the door opened and the man in front of me made my heart stop beating.

He was absolutely gorgeous and the cologne he wore smelled so good. He was tall, muscler, and very well dressed. Those blue eyes and his blood hair, could make a girl swoon.

Snapping out of my admiring him, I introduced myself.

"Hi, I am Lilly Rose, your new nanny." I smiled at his and held out my hand.

He shook my hand and replied,

"Nice to meet you, I see you arrived early, so thank you. My daughter is spending the day with her grandparents, so you will have calm to settle in. Please come in and I will show you around."
