Ariel and Alex were together when a slave came to deliver a message from the Alpha. Alex was wanted in the Alpha's quarters. Ariel was frantic and worried. She didn't want Alex to go and see the Alpha. What if Damien had planned something for him? What if Damien was planning to hurt him because of what had happened between them? Well, it wasn't a surprising thing to Ariel . Damien thrived on hurting people- especially her- and now he wanted to hurt Alex too. It seemed to Ariel that Damien got some sort of sadistic pleasure from hurting people. If not, why else would he do it?
