(Lex POV)
The man walking behind me is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never seen anyone like him before. Every feature of his face looks like it was carved perfectly — strong jaw, sharp cheekbones, and those eyes… those eyes could see straight through me. And I’d let them. His black hair falls just right, and all I can think about is what it would feel like to run my fingers through it, to tug on it while gasping his name.
“Lex, meet the mate bond,” Snow whispers with a little laugh in my head.
