I’d been buzzing all morning, waiting to see Lex. Then I saw the cut on her lip and everything turned red.
Who dared hurt my mate? My beautiful mate—marked, and I hadn’t been there to protect her. The human world needed to stay blind to us, but at that moment, I would have torn the whole school down if it meant keeping her safe.
