First Date Again
“You were in Chicago?” Bella asked for the tenth time.
“Yes! Bells I was in Chicago.” I repeated.
“With Jayce McKinney?” She asked again.
“Yes, Bella with Jayce.”
“And you both came back?” She asked hesitantly.
“What does that mean?”
“So, you did kill him and bury him there, right?” She asked quietly. “If you did, don’t worry about it, you can tell me. I’ll help you!”
“Omg Bella! Your being over dramatic!” I told her.
She shook her head and moved to the center of the bed. “I am not! You’ve been seething over that guy for the past four years! I was convinced you were going to kick his butt and be arrested for it.”
