The Talk (Part 3)
“Ivy!”
I heard Jayce shout from behind me.
I was too annoyed to slow down or respond.
“Ivy, come on! Slow down and talk to me!” He yelled out.
I had no idea why I was crying.
Nothing major had happened … I guess nothing at all happened.
But I was still upset.
This was supposed to be a calm meeting where we would be able to talk about everything. But I was out of control! I had no control over anything I was saying or doing. It was like I was an imposter in my own body. I didn’t know what I wanted or what I needed. I was turning into a crazy person! And there was only one person that could be blamed for this.
I turned past the buildings and kept walking into an open garden space with Jayce still behind me.
