A Little Bit of Romance
“Ivy the man is waiting!” Bella yelled from downstairs. “Hurry your ass down!”
I rolled my eyes and continued to apply my mascara.
I was almost ready for my first date.
And very, very nervous.
“Ivy!” Bella shouted again.
“Coming!” I yelled back.
I closed the mascara tube and took a few steps back.
I had chosen a colorful floral crop top that was full sleep and dropped off my shoulders and a simple short black jean skirt. I had even opted for some pure white sneakers and a few gold rings. My hair was curled and sitting on my shoulders.
I felt ready.
I turned to grab my blazer and then stopped.
