The Talk (Part 4)
I told Jayce everything.
Absolutely everything.
Hours had passed as I explained everything.
I watched the emotions on his face change as he absorbed in everything.
And now here we were.
Sitting in silence on the bench.
The sun had just set and the only light we had was coming from a streetlamp a few feet away.
All of a sudden Jayce stood up and held out his hand. “Let’s go.”
“Where?” I asked.
Jayce didn’t say anything. He just brought his hand closer to mine and waited.
I sighed, took his hand, and stood up.
Jayce pulled me into his arms and hugged me, then he kissed my cheek.
“I’m going to fix everything.” He told me, trying to reassure me.
I nodded into his shoulders and started to cry.
