Chapter 12

Vin's Pov "Stop the car! I told you, I won't eat with you!" I said for the nth time. But he won't listen to me. He just increased the volume of his stereo to tease me more. Unfamiliar classical music played in the corner of the interior of his expensive sports car. He glanced at my face while his arms were coolly rested on the steering wheel. "What? I can't hear you." He said it playfully. I suddenly want to pull his shoulder length hair to hurt him physically. I sighed irritably. Breathe, Vin. Calm yourself down. You don't want to see your name in the headline of the newspaper because you killed someone. I told him that I wouldn't come with him, but he dragged me into his car and buckled me into the seat so I couldn't escape. We were getting so much attention that I had no choice but to just get in. This guy. He should respect a woman's decision but he seems always live with a 'I get what I want' selfish motto. "We will just eat, okay? I want to treat you at least because you deserve it." He reasoned it out. "Why the need? We're not even friends." I answered, harshly. Well, it's a fact. He's not my friend, and we will never be. I saw his eyes widened a bit. "Woah! You're hurting my feelings!" He said in his most dramatic tone. I rolled my eyes. "And anyone could easily pass if you are the interviewer." He laughed. "What do you mean by that? Is it a compliment or what?" My eyes went to his arms. The veins on it would appear every time he tightened the steering wheel for a u-turn or whatnot. Then suddenly a vivid image of his forearm while pumping on me flashed. I shaken me head and tore me eyes away from it. Damn. "Y-Your questions were all nonsense. I don't even understand why Hendrix let you to interview me." I would be happy if he's here not you. He snorted. "It's because my brother trusts my expertise and skills in observing people." Yeah, yeah as if it's real. You're just observing those women that you can lay your hand of. "Whatever." I answered but my lips hung open when he smoothly passed the cars in front of us like a pro. Wow... He has good driving skills, while I'm sucks! I wonder if he has joined some drag racing competition before because he seems so comfortable in the driver's seat. "And he's busy, so you should just enjoy my company." He added, not realizing my amazement. Well, that's a good thing. He's accelerating his speed, but it's obvious that he can do more. I can't even hear what he's saying. I am still stunned at the experience of his driving. "And what? Nonsense? You're kidding me, Ms. Park. They're all the right questions. Just accept it. You're just too green-minded. You're misinterpreting them all in something silly." Our eyes locked. He grinned. "W-What?" Did he just call me green-minded? How could he call me like that? "Then tell me, why are you looking so red like a fresh picked tomato earlier?" Fresh picked tomato? What the heck? "You couldn't even maintain our eye contact. So I guess, You were enjoying it?" My face go crimson. Enjoying, what? This bastard. "That, exactly that's red face." He pointed at my heated face. This damn jerk. "S-Shut up! Just drive!" I couldn't explain my side. I am astounded by his non sense beliefs. He looked so amuse. "Alright, Miss!" I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO with him anymore when he brought me to a restaurant that has a romantic and intimate vibe. Obviously, it was filled with couples. I glared at him when I didn't realize it sooner until he pulled out a chair for me on a table for two. The ambiance of the place is good, and the classical music that the pianist is playing is so relaxing, but because it's him that I am with, I suddenly want to puke. "Are you kidding me?" If I could only punch his face, I would do it not once, but twice. His fake innocent-eyes looked at me. "What?" I zipped my mouth shut when a waiter approached us and poured us wine. He leaves the bottle on the table. There's no menu, so probably Felix already ordered in advance. "What?" He asked again as soon as the waiter left. He groaned when I kicked his feet under the table. It was loud, and that's why some of the customers glanced on our way. I bit my lips and glared at the jerk's face. He crumpled his face like he was really hurt. This pervert s***h dramatic king. "Why are you hitting me?" I gave him a disgusted look. He shook his head. "Seriously, Vin. You should be friendly to me, you won't see someone better and nicer than me." His head might be full of gas too. His personality is really different from Hendrix. A waitress with our food came, and something caught my attention. She's obviously attracted to Felix. She would glance at him every few seconds, but the jerk was oblivious about it. He just continue on staring at my face. I sipped on my glass. The woman almost lost her balance when she stood beside him to put his plate down. Then, unexpectedly, her eyes went to me. Her eyes wide opened and her cheeks turned pink. She immediately dropped it on the plate. "You like steak? It's what I ordered since women love meat." Felix got my attention after his statement. Why does it sound like it has a another meaning? "What?" He chuckled. I saw the woman almost drop her panties in amusement. Her eyes were glowing, and obviously in awe for his silly laughs. Felix looked up to her. She almost fainted just by it. "Thank you." He said in a sweet tone. I sipped again on my glass when I saw how he affected the woman just because he gave her a little attention. The woman blushed profusely and nodded with shivering lips. She glanced at me before leaving us. I was reminded again how dangerous this man is for women. I coughed when our eyes met. He smirked and leaned on the table. "What are you staring at, Miss? Do you need something?" He asked, which sounded like the line he gave me when we first met. "Why did you bring me here?" He picked up his utensils. "Isn't it obvious? I want to eat." "The city is wide. There are a lot more restaurants to eat at." He chewed his food slowly. I cleared my throat when I find it a bit sensual. "What's wrong here? This is a high-class restaurant, Vin. The food that they are serving is all good, and the people are nice. So what?" He licked the juice from the meat off his lips. I unconciously bit my lips. But them he saw it. His eyes narrowed with amusement. I shifted on my seat. He watched my eyes until he thought of something. He leaned on the table. "Unless you're bothered by the ambiance and with me?"
