Vin's Pov
I couldn't go back to sleep that night. I just let myself cry until the sun rose. I just about to leave their house once the morning set, but Hendrix didn't let me. He wants me to have breakfast with him and his family.
I know he saw my swollen eyes, but he didn't say anything about it. He just ignored it and pulled me to their dining area, where I saw his mother and Felix. Mrs. Lisa's face was corded while Felix just continued on eating without looking at me or Hendrix. My heart aches.
"Good morning, mom. Vin will have breakfast with us." Hendrix said, guiding me to the seat beside him. He then put some food on my plate. He then looked at Felix in front of him, who still hadn't looked at us.
