"Where are you going?" Hendrix firmly held my waist. "You're not going anywhere, Vin."
I sighed. My heart aches for what's going on between us, but all the more when I saw Felix leaving in spite of her mother's birthday just because he heard Hendrix's announcement.
I hurt someone again, and it's affecting me so much.
"Oh my god, congrats, my dear! Is this why you're crying earlier? Is this joy of happiness?" Mrs. Lisa went to us and hugged me. "I really didn't expect this, but I'm happy." she sincerely said with a glitter in her eyes. I averted my gaze from her. Hendrix's hand tightened on me.
"I'm happy too, mom." Hendrix replied to her because I wouldn't say anything. Frankly, I didn't know what to say.
