Chapter 21

Vin's Pov "Eat more, Vin." The bastard said and poured my glass with water. I gave him an are-you-f*cking-serious look. "How can I eat all of this? I'm not a pig!" I said this irritably and put some of my fried rice on his plate. He looked at me with an annoyed smile too, but in just a few seconds, he was smiling again like an i***t. "Of course, because a pig isn't small and thin." He teased while looking at my body. I plunged the fork into the sausage, holding on to the thin string of patience I have for him. I am trying so hard not to picked out his eyeballs using it. "Why would you cook so much if you can't eat all of this, alone? Ah, why don't you just invite some girls of yours so you can have someone to finish all of these." I rolled my eyes at him. But after realizing my words, my face turned red like the color of the ketchup on my sausage. Yeah, what the hell are you talking about again, Vin? He smirked soundly that it makes me more disappointed and embarassed for myself. He wandered his eyes around to his kitchen while wetting his lips. Might be thinking on something before he then setling his eyes again on me. "First, you're here that's why I cooked a lot. Second, I don't invite women to eat at my place. You're the only one I let come here for your information." He answered with a lace of amusement and taunting eyes. Like I should be happy that he brought me here. Like hello? I don't friggin' care. He can bring anyone here. Even the woman he's with in the restaurant. We can't even have a peace breakfast. And I don't think I can have that with him. I glanced at him. But when I saw him chewing his food, I dropped my eyes again. Our heated kiss in my dream suddenly gushed in my head just because of his chewing. I sipped on the coffee that he made. Damn, what is this? You're a creep, Vin. I need to wake up my senses. I won't work properly today if I will think about that kiss all over again. But I wonder, why does it seem and feel real? I can still vividly see it in my head. His tongue and his touch, they all made me lose my head again until everything went black. I can't ask him about it, I will lose my mind if he says that it's real. But in the first place, why did I dream about it? If I will dream about kissing someone, it should be Hendrix. Not this man! Like you can control your dream, Vin. "Aren't you going to work?" He asked suddenly. He got my attention again. I just fixed my eyes on the food on my plate so I could stop my thoughts. I'm not a fan of breakfast, but because of him, I need to eat. I usually just have my coffee and a piece of bread, but he seems to be a breakfast lover. "It's my day off?" I simply replied. I sipped on the coffee again. The only thing about him that I must compliment is his cooking skills and the taste of his coffee. But still, I couldn't say it. But yeah, he's really fit in the kitchen, and not all men can be like that. "You aren't sure?" He asked in amazement. I sighed. This man talk to much. "It's my day off." I repeated. He shifted on his seat and watched me put some more of food from my plate to his. Seriously, I can't eat them all. I just need coffee. "Or is it because you're here with me? Can't leave because of me, eh?" He uttered. I raise my head at him with a disgusted face, while he's raising up and down his eyebrows. With a nothing but a playful grin. See? How can I compliment this bastard when he is so full of himself? He thinks that he's so handsome that every woman can't resist him. Well, I admit he has the looks, but his attitude makes me want to vomit. "Seriously?" I whispered and shook my head. "What, Vin?" He asked with a grin. I looked at him with my deadly stare, though he didn't care at all. "Shut up. I'm eating." He wiped his mouth and laughed. He is really the most talkative man I've ever met, aside from my gay friend. They would click, huh? Oh shoot! I forgot about them! I forgot that they saw me kissed by this bastard in that bar. Now what should I do? How can I explain it to them without messing up? And how cannot I be? They know that Hendrix and I have a relationship. Even if I made an excuse, they would know if I was lying or not. It won't work on them! Damn, I'm screwed. "How about your sleep? Did you sleep well on my bed?" Felix asked while I'm crowded by thoughts. He looked at me curiously. I choked up. Doesn't his mouth have a break? Is this how he deals with his women? Aren't they annoyed? He laughed for the second time before offering me a glass of water. "Why?" He asked innocently when I gave him a fierce look. I cleared my throat with the water. "Why you didn't bring me to my home instead?" I asked with narrow eyes, skipping his question. His brows shut up. Then he jerked his head down on his food. "It's because I'm drunk too. Your house is too far away, and it would take almost an hour of driving. I can't risk it. I'm just thinking about our safety that's why I brought you here instead. So don't accuse me or something." He said. I gave him a wry smile. "You don't have to be so defensive." He put down his utensils. "What..." He breathed in disbelief. "I'm just trying to explain so you wouldn't think of something bad against me, Vin. I did nothing wrong to you, okay? And you should atlest be grateful that I didn't left you drunk and helplessly on the road." He said in too serious face that it looks so fake. I waved my hand in his face. "Alright, alright, you don't have to explain." I said, but he was still looking at me in disbelief. He stared at me and sneered. Then his lips slowly formed a curve. "I'm just saying that I did not really do something bad and upsetting on you...while your drunk. But I'm almost there, if you only hadn't collapsed." He said it shamelessly. What? Collapsed? I pointed the fork at his face in anger. "Stop with your bad mouth or I'll make it stop by myself." But he won't be fazed by my mere threats. He leaned closer at the table. The tip of the fork touched the tip of his nose. "My, what are you going to do then?" His eyes traveled down to my lips. "Are you going to shut my mouth by yours? Then you can do it now. You're free to do that, I won't resist."
