"W-What?"
Marco and Diana dropped their jaws.
"H-Hendrix proposed to you?" Diana repeated what I just said the third time.
I nodded before I dropped my eyes on my drink.
"He said we're going to announce it at his mother's birthday party."
They both gasped. A defeaning quietness filled us. Until Diana's dog barked.
We were in her condo unit. I called them and went there because I don't have anyone to speak to properly. My mother is still upset, and my dad isn't around because of his meetings and all business matters. I can only go to my friends.
"B-But why aren't you happy?" Diana asked.
