Noa's POV
It all happened much faster than I anticipated- and in completely the wrong way.
My worst fears came to light when the sun was setting and I heard a giant crash and then yelling and before I knew it everyone was running around. Piling on top of guards and trying to yank their weapons away.
"no....no... " I whispered as I began to look around frantically, completely frozen in place.
It didn't take long before fires erupted around us and smoke began to fill the colorful sky. Turning the vibrant oranges and pinks into different tones of grey. Covering my mouth with my arm I began to run around trying to find a familiar face.
I screamed loudly as I felt a strong hand wrap around my hair and yank me back so hard that I fell to the ground. Thrashing around I tried to free myself f
