Annabelle POV
Despite Jason’s sudden appearance, Colten still let me go to work. Only there is always to be a guard with me when he is not around. I could accept that, I am not stupid enough to reject, I am one and Jason seems to always send many to kidnap me. Colten also made sure the building security does not allow Jason and his father into the building. I was happy with the added security measures, even the pack was on high alert.
It has been a few weeks since and now I have a nice routine and a sense of normalcy. I still visit Greg at least once a week to check up on him. Colten has allowed him out for runs with Sean twice a week. I am still skeptical of Greg; something seems off about him and I can’t put my finger on it. I have asked Colten to postpone accepting him into the pack.
