Our eyes locked and that did something to me. Everything about her did something to me, even her scent and the littlest things. It couldn’t just be because she now bears my mark, there had to be more to it.
I didn’t regret marking her as mine after I did, and if I could, I would do it over and over again without hesitating for a second. I didn’t realize how much I liked having her around until she was away to take care of her daughter.
