If it weren't for the family occasion being held today, I would have been in another pack with Alpha Kael by my side. He did say that we could always go on vacation whenever I was ready, and that was kind of him.
After Alpha Kael’s Beta called my name yesterday, I just had to return home. I assumed a dignitary called me until he showed up at my face. My heart almost jumped out of my chest.
“We are waiting for you, Elara!” Lila screamed at the top of her voice. Screaming was one of her favorite things to do.
I was done, but I just needed to put on my shoes and perfume. I knew how today’s event would unfold because it happened in my past life. It might also interest Lila to know that I was prepared for her.
