Kael’s POV
I planned to spend only fifteen minutes but thirty minutes had passed, and I was still here. Jaxon and other Alphas decided to engage me in a conversation, it was more like a mini meeting with me.
Jaxon was right next to me before the disaster struck. I could only watch from where I was, I couldn’t be there for Elara like I wanted. Jaxon didn’t do a good job standing by her, he was everywhere and not next to her.
I looked all around and Elara was nowhere to be found. She must have disappeared due to the disaster that had just struck. I knew how important the event was to her, and I could imagine what she was feeling at the moment.
“Do you think I should go in search of her?” I asked my wolf.
