For the longest, I’ve always been as free as a bird, but there was something about Elara not being around. The freedom has been unmatched. I could decide not to come home for days.
I wasn’t trying to please Elara because of her absence, more like being on my best behavior so she could help me speak to Alpha Kael that I wanted more. I would love to be his next in command.
“Now is the best time to speak,” my wolf howled. I knew he would.
“Speak,” I cooed. If I don’t allow him, he wouldn’t let me be.
“Are we taking Elara and Alpha Kael’s lives or are we only unaliving only one of them?”
“I haven’t made up my mind,” I replied to him.
“Why haven’t you?”
“I’ve been occupied with other things so I haven’t time to ponder on it,” I remarked.
“Yeah, you’ve been busy with Lyra,”
