Jaxon would forever remain a beast, that I knew for sure. Until now, I had no idea he went back to Arianna’s house after the last time I trailed him. Now, he had gotten Arianna into trouble with her late husband’s family.
I understood all that she said to me, but I didn’t see how I could be of help yet. If there was anyone who could be of help to her in this situation, it would be Jaxon himself. He caused this, so he can fix it.
“What do you need me to do?” I asked. I hoped I didn’t come off as insensitive or nonchalant with those words of mine.
“I have no idea,” she sniffled.
