“We might have a problem,” I opened up to Alpha Kael. I didn’t want to at first.
All this time, I had been acting as though I had everything under control when I didn’t. I didn’t want Alpha Kael to see me as incompetent, so I hid the details from him. I thought I could solve the problem on my own.
After today’s meeting with our partners, I realized it was necessary for me to tell him about it. Gideon was aware from the start. I asked him not to speak to Alpha Kael about it and he didn’t.
“Tell me about it,” he mentioned. I didn’t expect him to speak to me in a calm manner. He did ask that I be involved with all that has to do with the task.
