Elara’s POV
A huge part of me was looking forward to the trip, it would be a chance for me to have a breath of fresh air for days. I didn’t forget that Alpha Kael and I won’t be all cozy during the trip, our relationship still wasn’t progressing.
Before traveling tomorrow, there was something that I needed to do. It can wait, but I don’t want it to wait for quite a number of reasons. It was time to leave Jaxon in the dining area and get to work.
It must have dawned on him that I told him about my plans to travel not because I wanted to take permission from him, but because I only wanted him to be aware so he doesn’t start looking everywhere for me tomorrow.
“I said I wanted to talk to you about something before you said you had something to say to me, remember?”
“My bad,” I muttered
