Elara’s POV Everything looked exactly how the event planner said it would look. The lighting was soft, the decorations were perfect, and my mother’s name stood boldly at the center of the hall. It was my idea. I stood and stared at her name, she must be so proud of me. I allowed my eyes to trace the familiar letters of her name and it made my chest tighten. This was hers before it was ever going to be mine. For me, this wasn’t just a business reopening. It was a test I couldn’t afford to fail. I would be telling a lie if I said I wasn’t nervous, I just couldn’t help it, but today wasn’t about breaking. It was about proving something. More guests arrived and it made voices filled the room.
