It was after Alpha Kael told me all that I needed to know that I became relaxed. It wasn’t totally my fault that Kierra was in the sickbed fighting for her life, and he never intended to betray me.
Kierra must have picked up his call on the day I called to ask him for tickets to the event I wanted Lila and me to attend together. Also, he had severely punished Seraphina’s family under a pretense, and no one knew it was because they had humiliated my daughter.
