Alpha Kael summoned me, it was something to be excited about. Before he traveled out of the pack, I was at this mansion twice and he ended up rescheduling our meeting for no good reason.
I didn’t know what to feel. All the times Alpha Kael summoned me, I ended up leaving his mansion with a smile on my face. But the times I schedule a meeting with him, he ends up rescheduling.
“Did you say something to Alpha Kael on my behalf?” Curiosity made me ask Elara.
“Something like what?”
“Something good,” I replied.
She didn’t look at me for a second and it wasn’t a big deal. Her eyes remained on the screen of the television. I had mine on her, I was awaiting her response. She would respond, it could only take time.
“I don’t think I did,” she eventually responded. I knew she would
