I decided to come make the call in my room because I didn’t want anyone eavesdropping, not even Miya, my favorite maid. I trusted her, but I would prefer not to let her know about some things.
It was time to go be with Nia in her room again. It was important for me to stay by her side and watch over her. She fought so hard for her life, and for that, I was super proud of her.
I had no idea she would be discharged after spending about thirty hours in the hospital. The best Doctors in the pack attended to her, and that definitely helped. Alpha Kael was indeed thoughtful.
