Kael’s POV
It had been more than an hour since I had been burning with fever and restlessness. It was difficult to move some parts of my body and my vision was still very blurry. I could see nothing.
The door made a cranky sound, and my ears caught footsteps afterwards. A scent filled my nostrils and I knew just who it belonged to. It wasn’t that of my Beta or the head of security but Elara’s.
“We need to take him to the sickbay,” My Beta said.
I understood the reason he said that. Thankfully, the sickbay was close by. I needed to get better because I still needed to show up for the trip even though I wasn’t myself. I stood up with the help of the Beta and Elara. I didn’t know she would be here today.
