I did assume that only Alpha Kael and I were coming on this trip. According to him, it was important for him to come with his guards. He still needed werewolves that would watch over him even outside his pack.
They weren’t in the same car as us, and I think I liked that. He also said that they won’t be intruding and I believed him. I took a deep breath and adjusted myself on the car seat, I couldn’t help doing it.
“We’ll arrive at the hotel soon,” Alpha Kael broke the silence. That was exactly what I wanted to hear.
