Gideon’s POV
“Is there a problem, Alpha?” I asked.
“I should be asking you that,” his response to me. It sounded more like an attack.
I wasn’t sure I knew what he was talking about. I only asked if there was a problem because he wasn’t in bed yet. The way he looked at me made me wonder if I did something wrong by asking him.
“There’s no problem,” I said. It was the only thing I could think of saying.
“Why aren’t you in bed?”
“I needed to discuss something with Mrs Elara,” I replied to him.
We both remained in the hallway that leads to our rooms. He has more questions for me, I could tell by looking at him. Could it be that he has a problem with me coming out of her room at this time?
