Alpha Kael and I remained in the car, and he was still refusing to speak to me. He didn’t look upset, but he might be upset. I thought of breaking the silence, but I wasn’t sure it would be the right thing to do.
Kierra had been rushed into the hospital, and here we were in the car waiting to get a call from Alpha Kael’s Doctor. Seraphina offered to stay in the hospital’s reception while we remained here in the car, in the hospital’s parking space.
Noon had passed already, but I wasn’t bothered about going home. Miya would take very good care of Nia, I could be sure about that. I needed to be sure Kierra was doing fine or I would remain here.
