“This is not a good time, Jaxon.”
“When will there be a good time?” He roared.
He wasn’t having it with me, and I expected that; I saw it coming. He kept breathing heavily and if he wasn’t careful enough, he might end up hurting himself. I, on the other hand, was having a good time of my life.
Seeing him so worked up was something I loved, unlike my past life. I made his happiness my responsibility, but it wasn’t so in this timeline. I had the option of walking out of the room but I didn’t.
“Why did you decide to keep it a secret from me?” He roared again.
“Tone, Jaxon, tone,” I roared back at him.
He must have forgotten for a second that there were things he wasn’t supposed to do to me as Kael’s mistress. I folded my arms and looked in another direction. I loved every
