“Get out!” A few seconds later, Benjamin said it again, this time with even more force.
Jennifer paused. She frowned slightly but still smiled sweetly and said, “Benjamin, congratulations on being able to stand again. Auntie must be smiling down on you from heaven.” Her expression was gentle, as if she was genuinely happy for him.
Benjamin slowly sat back down, but his eyes grew even colder.
Jennifer bit her lip, taking one last look at his perfectly proportioned physique, then turned and left.
Now that Benjamin could walk again, planning her next move would be even easier.
No rush—take it slow. Benjamin had always been a man of contradictions, especially when it came to feelings. He was emotionally dense. She would make him realize, eventually, that she was the one he truly loved.
