A chill swept through Barry's heart as he looked toward Benjamin. He couldn’t understand where things had gone wrong—everything had clearly been under his control.
Benjamin glanced at the mother and son coldly.
“Apologize to my wife before you leave.”
Amanda was momentarily stunned.
He just acknowledged her as his wife—in front of everyone?
Barry’s fists clenched instantly. Apologize to Amanda? She was nothing to him!
