A look of surprise couldn't be hidden from Allen as soon as he entered a penthouse he had never been to and saw Karis was there.
"How are you, Karis?" River asked first before Allen could react.
Karis was also surprised. He backed away from the door and gave way. "I'm fine, River. Mr. Allen, come in."
The door opened wider.
Allen's legs stiffened as he walked into what could be said to be a good enough place to live. The place was not wide, but has two bedrooms, a separate kitchen and others. Karis led them into the living room, where there were three expensive leather sofas, and he invited the two of them in.
