THUD!
“What the hell was that?” Astra exclaimed while pouring her coffee behind the counter of the Starbucks.
Both Nicole and Oliver shrugged also unsure of what the sound was.
“Maybe we should go check it out?” Nicole said putting her mug down onto the counter.
Astra let out a loud sigh of frustration. They had just gotten back from getting the power back on and she was finally going to get the sweet nectar of the gods that is coffee.
“Fine.” Astra groaned. “Let me just finished pouring my cup and then we can go.” Astra finished making her coffee taking a deep inhale letting the warm steam fill her chest. Closing her eyes for a moment of bliss she reluctantly put the mug down on the counter. “Let’s go.”
The three of them shuffled out of the Starbucks and began scouring the area
