Reconnection

Bellina lies in bed, propped up with pillows, looking a bit fragile but relieved to be home. The door creaks open, and Leilah enters reluctantly, her expression a mix of apprehension and guilt.Leilah hesitant Hey, Bel… can I come in? Bellina glancing up answered with a low voice Of course. I was just… waiting for you she smiled Leilah steps inside, closing the door softly behind her. She stands awkwardly near the entrance, fidgeting with her hands.taking a deep breath I know I haven’t been around much. I wanted to check on you sooner, but…Bellina cutting her off But you were unsure and always at the door right?

Leilah winces at Bellina’s tone but doesn’t respond immediately.sitting on the edge of the bed I’m really sorry, Bell. I didn’t realize how much you were struggling. I should have been there for you.

Bellina looking down It’s just hard, you know? We’re supposed to be a team. I felt so alone.

Leilah replied softly I know. I didn’t see it. I was so caught up in my own world that I didn’t notice you were hurting.

She reaches out, placing her hand gently on Bellina’s.Leilah I should have checked in more. I’m really sorry for being oblivious. You mean everything to me, and I hate that I let you down, I should have realised on time and I blamed you those times without knowing that you did all that to save me, tears streaked down her cheeks

Bellinalooking up, her eyes glistening It’s just… I thought you’d always know when something was wrong. We’re twins. Leilah nodding I thought so too. And that makes it worse. I should have known better.

There’s a moment of silence as they both absorb the weight of the conversation.Bellina sighing I guess we both have things to work on.

Here’s a scene where Leilah takes Bellina to the library, where a surprise mini-party is waiting for her, filled with family and friends.

Bellina steps in, and her eyes widen in surprise. The room is filled with colorful balloons, a banner that reads “Welcome Back, Bellina!” and a table laden with snacks and treats. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carmichael, stand nearby with big smiles.Lady Carmichael clapping her hands Surprise! We wanted to celebrate your recovery!

Zain walks over with Anthony and Rome, all three grinning widely.

Rome playfully said,”We figured it was about time to bring some fun back into your life! You missed my party anyways.

Rome nodding You can’t have a party without cupcakes, right?, Zain’s gaze was fixed on her he was quiet.

Bellina stands in the doorway, overwhelmed but touched, her heart swelling with gratitude.

Her grandparents appear from behind a bookshelf, waving and smiling warmly.Nimo !!!!
