I stood there longer than I meant to.
Seven-thirty.
That gave me... nine hours to panic.
I went back inside and Hana's door creaked open almost immediately, like she'd been waiting.
"You're going somewhere tonight," she said, leaning against the frame.
"How do you know?"
"You only look that confused when you're about to do something stupid."
"It's not stupid. It's just... a party."
She raised an eyebrow. "Annette's?"
I blinked. "How do you—"
"Please. The whole town knows she dumped Angstrom. Even my friends know."
Of course they did.
Hana looked at me for a second longer than usual.
"Just don't be weird," she said.
Too late.
I tried taking a nap after hana left, but instead I laid there thinking all the possibilities tonight could turn out.
Panting around in my head and it hit me, I had be lying still for about half an hour.
Not a single body movement, this has got to be something I thought.
Now I had to revert to my old habit of sleeping on the desk even at night.
I was cut short in my mission to move a muscle by Hana, who couldn’t stop going about Dustin her now boyfriend.
Sometime I’ll tell you about Dustin.
“Hey what are you doing, you’re awfully still” she said
“Yea no, I was on my way asleep but don’t let me stop”
She lean on the door for a bit looking mischievous, well what has she got on her mind this time
“Annette’s is helping out at the community center til four, do what you want with that information” she smiled and hopped out.
Okay.
I suddenly felt this surge of energy through my body and I soon found myself on my feet.
“Okay, that’s more like it.”
Now, community center bump in her by mistake sounds easy.

At around two-fourth the four walls of my room couldn’t keep up me locked up anymore. I reluctantly made my way downstairs.
Self-absorbed in my thoughts, I passed Tim sitting on the sofa.
“Hey man, u sleep walking here in the day time, sick”
He said
“You know, you should knock around here, you might get shot”
“Hey, hey hold on there tough guy, there’s no need for that” he replied now smirking
He didn’t need to knock, really.
“What do you what man”
“Hana called, no texted a word rather” cutting me off he continued.
“I’m your own personal cupid, what do you think?” He said now smiling fully
“Yea I’ll pass”
“What do you mean you’ll pass, I saw you just now heading for the door” he then moved over and continued
“I can’t have you going around like a lost puppy, it’s bad for my rep”

“A minute ago you said I was mysterious, now a lost puppy, woah”

“Look, let’s take my car and mistakenly run into her hopefully not over her” he shrugged
“Over..” I scuffed “what’s wrong with my car?”
“Your mom’s car.. yea it’s a bit beat up beside where’s the beautiful mrs kravinski, i haven’t seen her all day”
He replied.
I hadn’t either. I gave Tim a grin that made back up a little.
“Hey I’m joking dude, i can see your forehead start to squeeze, take it easy” he said with a grin on his face.
“Your rep, seriously”
“Forget about that dude, you know what I mean” he replied
The car ride down to the center felt like it took forever, why did I let this man drive. He’d knocked me and a couple other people down in the past, i wondered how he still has a license.
“Hey pull over here, i need to get the new invincible release”
“You don’t need that, a comic book no” Tim replied.
“Hey didn’t you just turn over your marvel collection to billy, pull over up here”
“Yea I did, I turned them over didn’t I, it’s Williams’s bit now” Tim said lowly this time around.
“Yea well it took you only they whole summer to decide, back in a minute”
Walked over to the comic book stand and placed my other to the retailer. He was happy to see me not a day later, I was a regular you see.
“Let’s hit the road”
Pulling up on saint marquis street two blocks down from the community center, I saw her walking down the street alone.
“Hey, hey you seeing this, it’s your chance man plus up the street it’s your man Flash Edwards, he’s a real charmer” Tim muttered to me
“His not my man, dude the f**k”
“Don’t y’all go like way back” he replied with a conspicuous look
“Shut up man, drop me off here”
“Hey leave that invincible s**t” he said loudly
Tim drop me use few paces away from her and pulled off immediately.
“Hi… Annette”
“Hey, Rob?” She replied.
I could see her face brighten up.
“Yea.. how are you doing”
“I’m okay, you …. What are you doing here?” she replied staring directly into my eyes.
