32 AmosMy heart is full with nothing but gratitude. Every morning I wake up and can’t believe this is my life. It’s a storybook existence, really—the perfect picture. When I was young, I never voiced my desire to spend forever with Alma, not even to myself, until a lifetime with her wasn’t a choice. I thought I lost her forever, at least, in that way. Sitting here now…it’s surreal.
